Liverpool Agree Ronald Araújo Loan Deal

Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Ronald Araújo on loan from Barcelona, according to Fabrizio Romano, with the defender now set for a surprise move to Anfield.

Romano reports that Barcelona have approved the move and documents are expected to be signed within 24 hours. Crucially, the agreement includes an optional buy clause rather than an obligation, giving Liverpool the chance to make the transfer permanent.

Paul Joyce has also confirmed Liverpool are working on the loan, with Araújo arriving to help ease the club’s defensive issues.
